Who you buy from
MacroNote subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), our Merchant of Record. When you subscribe, you purchase from Paddle, and Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern payment, invoicing, taxes and refunds. If anything on this page differs from Paddle’s terms, Paddle’s terms apply.
14-day right of withdrawal
Where applicable consumer law provides it, consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw from certain digital purchases and receive a full refund. It applies to one-off purchases and to the first payment of a subscription, not to later renewals except where required by law. If your plan includes a free trial, a fresh 14-day withdrawal period begins when the trial ends. Because MacroNote is digital content available immediately, the withdrawal right may end once you start using the paid features, where you expressly consented at checkout to immediate access and to waiving the withdrawal right. Under Swiss law there is no general statutory withdrawal right for online purchases; the rights described here are granted under Paddle’s terms and applicable consumer law. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights; where higher protections apply, they prevail.
Cancelling
Cancel any time in Settings → Subscription → Manage or via the “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle receipt. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Requesting a refund
Refunds are handled by Paddle: use the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your confirmation email, or go to paddle.net and choose “Request refund”. You can also contact support@macronote.ch and we will point you to the right billing flow. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of approval. Outside statutory rights, refunds are at Paddle’s discretion and not guaranteed.
